Yo, I'm making a mix for my university basketball team to play during the warm up and time outs and such and I just wanted to drop some good 'indie' tracks in the mix. I'm trying to break away from the usual songs, such as AC/DC, Guns and Roses, montley crue etc. type of stuff. So far I'm thinking some tracks by Fatboy Slim,Daft Punk,Justice,Wolfmother and the Rapture would be good. But I just wanted your opinion? Let me know.

and I'm getting bored / running out of time to go through my hard drive alphabetically to look for stuff. I don't like basketball, but I went to a basketball oriented University (creighton) and would flip shit if I heard those songs at a game and/or practiced to them. However, probably not many other people would...

I was wondering if anyone would say it.

If I were to ever be on a basketball team I would listen to "Mr.November" constantly. It's my theme song during finals week.

I don't know if this was meant as a joke or not, but I found it hillarious.

Just to stay on Topic I'll add to the list:
On A Rope - Rocket From the Crypt
Basement Jax - Where's Your Head At
Sneaker Pimps - Kiro TV

That was from some totally ridiculous cell phone commercial from a few months back. Good call, eric - I forgot how funny that one was.

Definitely not "indie", but it gets me about as pumped up as any song around, and has done so for over a decade. Kick-ass song.

It'll be "Wolf Like Me" for me.
