What's everyone's opinion on Super Furry Animals?

I recently bought Stainless Style which led me to Candylion which led me to SFA...

Although I love Gryf Rhys solo work, I find SFA rather boring. I thought I'd find one album that I really like, as it seems that many of their albums polarize their fan base, but they all sound too similar.

I don't know, maybe it's just me... I might have to lump them into the category of bands I don't "get", like Wilco and My Morning Jacket.

This is the thread you were looking for. I would say that the Super Furries are awesome and it is just you. Seriously. Their album last/this year Hey Venus is pretty spectacular as is most of their work.

Why start a thread on a band you don't like? Maybe this thread would be more appropriate...

If you have a question about whether the thread exists, please use the "Find" option, it's pretty useful.

If you have been listening to their album Mwnng I can understand that you don't get them, as it's entirely in welsh Smiler
Anyway. Which SFA albums have you heard? If you don't like either Fuzzy Logic or the brilliant Radiator you will never become a fan of them.

Mike,

that first link you gave me has four replies... It wasn't really what I was looking for.

But thanks for the second link.
