Wow… I can’t believe nobody commented on Tanner in my previous topic. However, I understand that not all can digest the splendor that is Tanner. On the opposite end of the indie rock spectrum, I’ll recommend something very polished… very tight… and still very good. Metric.
You can also find good clips of their songs at… http://www.ilovemetric.com/music.html I’d recommend easing into the album with Wet Blanket and Dead Disco.
C’mon, children. Eat your Metric like good little boys and girls. ;-)
Ooooh… speaking of C’mon… visit http://www.vonbondies.com/ and listen to the first song that plays when the window launches. C’mon C’mon is a great little ditty.
I wouldn't quite put them up with Arcade Fire or down with Wolf Parade. They make some very pleasant indie pop, though! I should get my hands on "Old-World Underground, Where Are You Now?", or whatever it's called. What I've heard of that sounds great.
------ Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.
