Anyone heard the new album by Supergrass? . Ive been a big fan of these guys for a long time, but frankly this album was a huge disapointment for me. Ive found that the majority of the songs on here are poppy , energetic glam rockers (ground Supergrass have covered before). But nearly all tracks lack the subtlety and depth in song writing of the Grass's previous work (see Road to Rouen). Almost feels like a sell out album to me. Plus the production (by Nick Launey) is way too crisp and kills Supergrass's quirky charm..... Thoughts anyone?

OK WHOA. I can see where you are coming from (especially compared to Road to Rouen), but I still LOVE Diamond Hoo Ha. I think Supergrass are probably my favorite band ever, just because every single one of their records are amazing in my opinion. Also check out the "Bad Blood" video, it's pretty damn awesome.

yeah , I really really like Bad Blood , and the video is very cool thats for sure. The first 4 songs on the album I do quite like, but it kinda tails off after that.... They played the first 3 tracks on Jools Holland recently . You should check em out on youtube , they sound great! .
