I've changed my mind on this of late. I think it might actually be the other way round.
And Damaged keeps getting better and better... Smiler

I like both of them alot, and it's hard to tell which one I like more because, more often than not, when I listen to one, I put on the other. So, I'm always hearing them in clusters.

I've always enjoyed the negative album. I guess the first, more commercial album gets double-posted, but I've always liked it as the backup cd the second album, at least at the time.

How's "Damaged" I was thinking about getting it?

'Damaged' is definitely, like most of their releases, a grower. Its hushed and intimate, quite a personal listening experience. Give it a little time and the right mood and its genuinely wonderful.

I second what Sammo says, but I'll add something: Kurt's voice is, for many, a deal-breaker. If you listen to some samples and think "I don't like the croak on that guy", you probably won't like Lambchop. But if the croak does you right, you'll be richly rewarded with great songwriter, amazing musicianship, and endless depth of musical brilliance.
