i have heard that some of these artists are indie, but some say they arent. it really doesnt matter to me, im just curious if these artists are considered "indie"

You have no idea the can of worms you just open. "Indie" is one of those terms that gets debated by everybody, so I would probably ask you what "Indie" means to you.
