any fans here? They're not very well known, but mewithoutyou is probably one of the most creative bands I've heard, musically and lyrically. Each of their albums is awesome in its own right. Their first, [A-->B] Life, is just a rocking-your-face-off album. Their second, Catch For Us The Foxes, is more mellow, while no. 3, Brother, Sister, is a bit more upbeat, while still being incredible.
For someone wanting to check them out, I would suggest listening to the second one. It's sheer brilliance. Highly, highly recommended.

I wouldn't say they are one of the most creative bands I've heard, but they certainly are something everyone should listen too. They are pretty big here in Ohio and I see plenty of mewithoutyou t-shirts in my highschool. Though I've yet to see them live, I've heard nothing but good things about their live show.
I can't say anything that would do justice to the brilliance of this band. Aaron Weiss' lyrics are the most beautiful things I've ever encountered. They're easily my favorite band right now and I usually listen to pretty pop-like groups. Catch for Us the Foxes is definitely the place to start.
This album should be like Thee More Shallows - More Deep Cuts in that those of us who have heard it and naturally really enjoy it should get word out to other forum members who may be apprehensive to try it out.
