I'll definitely have to check out the link when I get home from work. All the talk about this album here and elsewhere has really piqued my interest.

Great job suggesting this guys. You really picked a good one, I thoroughly enjoy it. Hope I have enough cash to pick it up on Tuesday.

I grabbed this album when it first leaked (and then I proceeded to piss myself out of excitement... same happened with Tio Bitar) and I've been listening to it atleast a few times a week since then (and with the way I go through new music, that's a lot). I love this album and it's been my #1 album of 2007 since I first heard it. It's going to take a lot to dethrone this one. I can't find one thing on the album that bothers me or is boring. An added bonus, I played it on a whim to momma and she loves it! (I've somehow managed to get her into dream-pop and shoegaze!)

I listened to it on myspace this morning as well. I like it very much. It goes well with my recent My Bloody Valentine kick. ********************** Metal-Archives POTDquote: im looking for pretty much the most uninspired/unoriginal brutal and/or slam death. with little or no variation in vocals. stuff like disgorge(us) and condemned.

I cant stand My Bloody Valentine, but I don't hear any shoegaze or dream-pop in this one at all.

I don't hear it on every track either, but the opener "23" has dream-pop and shoegaze all over it.

oh my god... this is the album (from blonde redhead) that i've been waiting for. I thought Misery Is a Butterfly had moments of brilliance, but I just couldnt get over the guy's annoying songs... well, thanks to some friends at the local record store I was able to pick this album up today, and it's beautiful from start to finish. I'm even loving the guy's songs. right now, this is my album of the year candidate... Im in OMG WTF mode at how amazing this album is... Im excited for the rest of you that will get to experience it tomorrow.

Overall, I'd have to say the album is a really, really strong contender for AotY. We may disagree about Neon Bible, b0arder, but you were definitely right about this. (also, nice infernal post count)

I'm surprised at how much love this particular album is getting in comparison to their others. I was listening to Fake Can Be Just As Good a couple weeks back and it was kicking so much ass.
Outside of a few standout tracks -- 2, 6, 9 -- this album only strikes me as OK. And I'm a pretty big fan of the band.
