One of the greatest short lived bands of all time in my opinion. "Once We Were Trees" is a classic record.

You know, when you start a thread about a band no one else is likely to know about, it might be a good idea to include some information about said band. Maybe even an adjective other than "classic" or "greatest" or--and I know this is extreme--more than two sentences.

I listened to one of their songs a while ago and was impressed. I can't remember the name of it though...but it was good.

I suppose this thread could also belong in the Americana thread. Always enjoyed the Beachwood Sparks and their brand of cosmic Americana. Once We Were Trees is my favorite of their two full lengths. Also love their side project or spin-off or whatever, The Tyde and all their releases.

What's weird is that I feel like I've never seen crazed post in the past few months... apparently he has, though.

I really should branch out past the music forum. Razzer

Well, I know crazed posts a lot in the "What Are You Listening To?" and "Song Tag" threads, so if you don't check them (I only occasionally do), that's why you're missing him. He did recently post his always fascinating list as well.
