I eagerly downloaded this album, being a fan of the light, airy, dreamlike brand of shoegaze exemplified by, say, "To Here Knows When", that this band has been compared to. Well, I was totally taken aback by this. It rocks and rocks hard. It's definitely closer to the Swervedriver end of the shoegaze spectrum, with the emphasis being placed on distortion, as opposed to reverb. Oh yeah, and this album totally kicks ass. I love this stuff.
