Am i the only one that thinks this guy writes incredibly cheesey music? It's kind of like if Jamie Stewart were even wimpier... and no, that's not a good thing. Plus, his vocals annoy me an incredible amount.
It's way too retro for me, and it reminds me of the terrible synth-pop that got big in the 80's.

I have to agree that it's cheesy(that's not even debatable). Nevertheless, it's great album. I haven't listened to it in a long time but I remember thinking it was great. It captured a mood. You do have to be able to put up with that retro sound. It either works for you or it doesn't. It's definitely worth trying out to see whether it's your cup of tea though.

It may be cheesy - but it's like a delectable aged gruyere or buttery soft brie. Not Velveeta.
