For some reason, I haven't listened to it yet. I probably should considering I'm a pretty big fan of Wyatt, especially Rock Bottom.

Hm, just checking some of these recommendations out, so far I like this one a lot. I've been in the mood for something like this. There definitely are some math rock tendencies throughout, but it doesn't sound boring or contrived at all, like so many of those bands do.

The Sightings and Mouthus released on Load are nuts. Along with Yellow Swans Load seems to be cleaning house. I still feel like there is so much to listen to this year and its already the middle of november. I'm not going to be ready for the lists in December.

Has anyone here heard anything from the EAQuartett? I've seen them compared to Supersilent a lot and they sound interesting, but I haven't been able to find anything by them. Just wondering.

Well I found their myspace page. The two songs that are on there from their new cd sound great. Definitely reminiscent of Supersilent, maybe some Miles Davis too.

I'm going batshit with a triple post!

I agree with everyone that the Sightings record is pretty great. I didn't like it at first, probably because it's so different from their older stuff, but I've been listening to it a lot lately and I really enjoy it.

I'm kinda disappointed in that Grampall Jookabox release. It is pretty inconsistent for me.

I'm a fan of how hodge-podge it is, but I can see it turning people off.

Lately I've been listening to I kao sto sam rek'o by Nepredvidive Dede. It's very good. Pretty similar to Sunburned Hand of Man's newest, with its repetitive, kraut improvisations, though it's a bit more progressive and "eastern" sounding. Parson Sound and Can are also reasonable comparisons.

Anyway, the albums streaming here , though I can't seem to find it anywhere else

I like them, and I think Sicnarf does too. But, this album is somewhat frustrating for me, as the first half of the album leads me to believe that they need to show more restraint, and then they turn around and show too much restraint for me on the second half.
Either way, there are some great songs on GAame, such as Manshake, New Machine, Thirteen, Horse Steak.

grabblegarr is right - I really like Aa. GAame is actually in my top ten.

On another topic. I just noticed that Birchville Cat Motel released his 3rd full length this year on Important with help from Matthew Bower. I've listened to a bit of it and it sounds like some of his older stuff like Chi Vampires. Really great.

Are you talking about the Danish band Mok Nok? I'm quite surprised that anyone outside Denmark know them. I haven't even myself had the chance to check them out yet.
