So, i'd known aobut les savy fav for awhile but their music didnt seem like it would interest me from what i heard. I was looking for something different than what i normally listen to one day, and saw the "Inches" for a cheap price so thought "why not?" and purchased it. What a worthy purchase it was. Anyone else like them? any recommendations of what i should buy after Inches?

"Inches" is all I've heard but it makes my Top 10 this year. They truly must be "Indie" because who else would put out nine 7" singles on nine different labels over an eight-year period, all for the reason of eventually turning it into an album? I also love the way everything goes backwards, with the latest songs first and vice versa.

Hey, robot, what do you think of that crazy "submarine song"("Reformat")? Have you ever heard anything like that in your life? I sure hope you got the disc with the DVD because it's got some cool homemade videos and concert footage plus you can play the whole album off the DVD on your CD player, so it's like getting two copies for the price of one.

Reformat is great. it sounds like they put a lot of time into it, sound effects and everything. I got it with dvd but havent watched everything on it. I watched the live videos and a few of the music videos. thanks for reminding me though, i think ill check out the rest tonight.

Inches is all I've heard as well, but I think it's pretty good. It's also very funny to imagine the look on someone's face after he painstakingly searches for all nine singles on EBay, and then hears about this compilation.

Stricken. Pained. Distraught. Quietly contemplative of how he could better have spent his money, he cries himself to sleep over a Swanson TV dinner

haha you're right

Hey robot, Inches is great, but my all-time favourite Les Savy Fav album would have to be The Cat and the Cobra. You simple must check that shit out!
