Then again, there's always early Napalm Death. Try Scum or From Enslavement to Obliteration. The later releases are nothing more than glorified death metal, and will only evoke sour, disapproving glances from your hip indie friends...
But ... I don't understand ... the Loud Family just seems so ... catchy to me.
I think Danielson Famile is a good choice ... Blonde Redhead would clear me right out of a room, but they're "cool" so it probably wouldn't work on others.
I would say anything really weird and slightly disturbing like Coil or Psychic TV could really kill a party mood.
After having had the misfortune of attending one of their live shows I would have to say anything by The Locust. Plague Landscapes would probably do the trick.

mike patton can clear a room like no other. try mr. bungle's disco volante or fantomas new album delerium cordia. any of his solo vocal stuff will work pretty well too.

I think this all depends on you and your friends. Mike Patton has never cleared anyone out of my house, in fact many friends will ask me play the two albums Wastrel mentioned. Same with Skinny Puppy and early NapalmDeath. Napalm Death's later albums would probably do a better job of clearing my house! I have driven people out of my house with Curse of the Golden Vampire and Sensational, two bands/artists that I love. I also have a mixed CD that I made expressly for this purpose. It has Achy Breaky Heart, the Thong Song, Get Out Of My Dreams(Get Into My Car), MMM-Bop, as well as a bunch of Britney Spears and other crap! Never fails!

I'll give you the opposite scenario. Back in the mid 80s we used to drive people out of the record store at closing time with The Cramps _Bad Music For Bad People_, which worked for years until people started buying copies.
We switched to the b side of the 12" of Ritual Tension's "Hotel California." That still did the trick as late as 1990 when I left.
But not because of Ritual Tension.

This all pretty much depends on who's in the house and how old they are. For example, I could put on "classics", such as Pere Ubu's "Dub Housing" (starts with Thomas wailing "Navvy"), or even something as "seemingly inoffensive" as Talking Heads' "77" or Television's "Marquee Moon" and the vocals would have plenty I know running for the door. The Residents' "Duck Stab/ Buster & Glen" could send several over the hill, and there's always "Gregory Peccary" by Frank Zappa. I think I'll stop and save some more for later.

Maybe, I am too young. Maybe, it's because my mom plays the CD constantly, but JOURNEY gets on my nerves. It would certainly make me flee from any living room. Strangely, my friends seem to enjoy the group so I dont really know...
No, it's not because you're young. I am substantially older than you. I definitely was around when Journey was in their heyday and Journey would clear me right out of a living room.
