Matt LeMay, Pitchforkmedia contributor and mod on the Wrens' absolutely dead website forum (not a joke) has this terrific band called Get Him Eat Him. I would have thought there'd be some discussion of an outfit like this on the forum, but my search turned up nothing.

If you want a truly gleaming, overpowered pop song that splits open with more color and exuberance than an exploded bag of Jackson 5-flavored skittles, then listen to "2 x 2", the first track from their 2007 record, Arms Down. Matt sings like he smiles while he sings and probably does.

I couldn't at first figure out why I was so immediately smitten by the music, breezy and blinding as it was, and then I found out Charles from the Wrens contributed. That's all it takes!

He's a mod on the Wren's website discussion forum. THAT IS INTERESTING.
