Indeed great indie electo. Better than the previous album!

Yeah, i can see how the ambient stuff would put some people off, but i love it. And as for p4k, its a great indie site but their reviews are all over the place. I would say this album is a low eight probably. And anyone who gives Vampire Weekend a score higher than a six can't be trusted.

I like this. If they just live a bit more dangerously on the next one, they'll have a dead ringer for album of the year.

I'm really loving this album, too. I especially love "Hearts On Fire" and "Far Away." I also find "Eternity One Night Only" getting stuck in my head, despite the fact that it's probably more of an ambient outro than an actual song.

It's a good album, but in hindsight didn't sound like anything special.. Lights and Music is an amazing song but their previous album is personally more likeable.

Just bought this a few days ago and it seriously owns me. "Out Here On This Ice" and "Lights and Music" especially. It's the indie-electronic album out of DFA that "Hercules and Love Affair" should've been all along. Simply fantastic. Has anyone seen them live? They're playing in DC next month and I have an itch to go.

I saw them at Pitchfork. They only played for 20 minutes due to getting stuck at the airport, but they sounded great. The crowd was loving it, everyone was jumping and moving around for the whole time. It was a really fun show, I'd go again if I could.
