Anyone listen to this yet? Great album, especially "Your 8th Birthday", among others.

I've already hyped it a little in the best new music thread. I love it. There are some absolutely dreadful lyrics, but I look past them. Not as good as the last one, but still a great outing from these Minnesota kids. Of course, it's not exactly catching on like wildfire here in the forums. I hope it gets some critical attention.

It's a good album, but a tad bit too long. The quality of songs dips towards the end, but solid overvall.

Wow, didn't even know Cloud Cult was coming out with a new album. I'm stoked! I only have the Hippo album. Are the earlier ones as good??

Yeah, some of the lyrics make me cringe. Same with "Advice From The Happy Hippopotamus". But both albums I really love. I would have to say "Hippopotamus" is my favorite, though.

All their albums are that way. Like when everyting is going great on "Clip-Clop" and then he says "My happy happy, my yeah yeah yeah" and for a second it makes me embarrassed that I even own the album.
Anyway, Cloud Cult rules and I hope this album is good.
