One of the best bands of the '90s and most people overlook them. "What Fun Life Was", "Beheaded" and "Transaction de Novo" are just chilling.

Oh yes, I love these guys. One of my favorite artists, Bedhead. All 3 of their full-lengths were awesome. If you haven't heard it, you definitely need to hear the Bedhead Loved Macha / Macha Loved Bedhead EP. It's a split with another Texas band called Macha, and it's really, really good.

I love the songs where they use unusual time signatures, like "Psychosomatica," which is in 5/4, and another one (can't remember the title) that alternates between 7/4 and 5/4.

It's truly sad that so little know of this wonderful band... Just felt as if it was my duty to revive this thread.

While I was buying textbooks on Amazon, I went ahead and bought Transaction de Novo and Macha Loved Bedhead EP. Probably shouldn't've, but I'm normally pretty good at depriving myself of stuff I'd like to buy, so I don't feel too guilty.

Seriously though, people. Y'all need to listen to this band. One of my all-time faves. If "More Than Ever" doesn't give you chills up your spine, then you're a Democrat.

Thanks, Raving! It's nice to see that at least someone besides myself likes this band on MC.

It was Quite a find.

Heh. I like Bedhead, but wow. They don't seem like the kind of band that inspires this kind of fandom. The exemplify a certain indie aesthetic that was uniquely 90s, one Low used to ascribe to as well sometimes. I don't necessarily mean slowcore. It's the guitar sound, melody, the tempos and even the vocals somewhat. Anyway they're good.

I don't speak your lingo, Dad.
