Anyone else seen this documentary, now on DVD? It follows the Brian Jonestown Massacre and Dandy Warhols, as the latter rises to moderate success and the former is stuck in self-sabotage mode, due mostly to its leader Anton Newcombe.
Despite the fact that Newcombe is a delusional manchild the movie makes me want to check out BJM's music. What's a good album to start with?
This is one of those films I wish I had never seen. Not because it was bad, mind you. I just have been a fan of BJM since Strung Out in Heaven but had never seen them before. Really didn't know much about them at all, actually-- just really dug their records. Now I know waaaaaay too much information. And let's face it, Anton is a big weenie.

What if Obama gets into White House and turns out to be some crazy muslim terrorist? What do we do then? We'll be pretty screwed. It could happen." -- by some fucking nutjob
