Just got it today and it's a damn beautiful album. So different from everything Alison's done, but I guess somewhat similar to Felt Mountain.

On a side-note, I've completely lost all faith in pitchfork as a credible music source. They gave this album a 4.6, which unless Will Gregory and/ or Alison killed the reviewers parents, or stole his lunch money in high school, is absolutely ridiculous.

I've loved Goldrapp since felt mountain, but I am far from someone who is drinking the kool-aid.

i've been listening to this for two weeks now and enjoy the first half of the album but tend to lose interest after that.
"Clowns" is a really great one though

I've streamed it a few times as well. The Pitchfork score was unfair at 4.7. I think its a pretty good listen. Its not really my cup of tea, but its not bad at all. I could see Feist fans digging it.

P-fork reviews only mean something to people who regard P-fork as the holy bible of music reviews. I thought a few of the tracks on Seventh Tree were interesting, but as a whole I felt it was kind of monotonous.

riiiight.

I love Fiest but Seventh Tree is rather boring to me, aside from a couple of cracking tracks.
