Deep Forest s/t was, like, the original stoner music for my group of friends, and it always seemed subversive somehow, and strikes me as kind of indie in retrospect. If Amadou & Miriam can be modern indie darlings, what's wrong with bringing Deep Forest's cheesy commercial goodness sandwich into the fold? Maybe the rest of their albums sucked???
