Dream pop bliss. Check it.

Suggestion: chaos is a racist, judgmental, piece of shit that deserves to be banned. If people are going to get mad at me for calling members out on their BS, he should be banned for his insesitive remarks and stereotypical slurs. He's a troll who makes up random threads to get a rise out of people and on top of that, he's hudson, the piece of shit. Isnt it a rule that when you are banned, thats it, dont come back as someone else? Its obvious thats him!

"Norway" is a good song, but I still find them to be a pretty boring band...

"Used To Be" is probably my favorite from the new album.

I also used to think they were pretty boring, but Teen Dream is far more interesting and engaging than Devotion if you ask me.

I'm enjoying Team Dream, but I'm sad they've departed from their old style. Devotion is one of my favorite albums.

I can see where people might find them boring, but I love the Super Mario haunted house style their first couple albums had.

This album is just jaw-droppingly good. I became excited for the album through Norway which I preferred to any previous Beach House song. It turns out every single song on Teen Dream is just stunning. Absolute favourites for me would be Zebra, Norway, Lover of Mine and Take Care. Admittedly, I am very inclined towards dream pop, but I still think everyboady needs to hear this album.

The more I listen to Teen Dream the more I realize that this album is a grower. It's deep and layered and the overall sound of each song grows more complete and enjoyable upon each listen. imo.

I like how the guitar plays so well with her vocals, reminds me of why I liked The XX so, so much. Something about simple, minimally produced music just allows all the parts to stand out yet work together.

I think this is their best album yet. Really like the addition of more live drums, and the new wavey textures add something pretty exciting. Beautiful album, probably best of 2010 thus far. I feel kinda stupid saying that because it's only January. Though, I have heard about 7 albums with '10 release dates, so that's, I suppose, substantial enough.

I also used to think they were pretty boring, but I'm enjoying Teen Dream. It's a little fuller sounding, and a bit more diverse than their previous stuff. Reminds me of Veckatimest at times.

Interestingly, I saw Beach House open for Grizzly Bear a few months back, so I got to hear a lot of the songs in the live setting first, which I think really helped prepare me for the album. Simply ethereal and otherworldly. The metascore of 83 seems spot-on to me.

They were the opener for Grizzly Bear when I saw them too, however, I was running late and missed Beach House's set. Evidently, it was the first time in the history of concerts when a band took the stage on time.

Haha, I lol'd. Too true. Whenever I go see a show, I always assume the opening band will go on 30 minutes after the time printed on my tickets, which means that the band I want to see won't be onstage until at least 90 minutes after that time printed.

Sorry you missed the set, man. It wasn't mindblowing, but it was decent.

Finally got around to checking it out, but definitely not my thing. Too reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac and other blasé dreamy pop acts like that for my taste.

This album is starting to grow on me. I like "Norway," of course, but "10 Mile Stereo" and "Used to Be" are also very good.

Taking a long walk in the snow with this playing on headphones was quite an enjoyable experience.
