From what I've heard so far, this album is extremely catchy. The singer's voice is very Kruggish.

I agree. It's high paced and sounds simple but original. Love it.

I hear the Figurines comparison. There's a lot of validity there - uptempo, clean guitars, distinctly "indie" aesthetic, slightly cute. Difference is mostly that the Figurines took all of their wistfulness and melancholy and put it in the first song (and the coda of another one) while Pete peppered it more or less throughout.
