So, what do you reckon to be freakishly bad-ass songs? I'm talking about songs that make you grab your sunglasses and cigarettes, look in the mirror, and pretend that you are in fact as cool as Tony Montana. Here are a few of my examples:

Radiohead - The National Anthem
Yo La Tengo - Pass The Hatchet, I Think I'm Goodkind
Grinderman - No Pussy Blues
Queens Of The Stone Age - (...) Millionaire

Do you have any suggestions, so that I can complete my compilation?

Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all...

Agree with this one. For a bad-ass Spoon song, I'd have to go with "I Turn My Camera On".

I don't know, "Small Stakes" has that really fast pace to it, and he keeps yelling "Aw come on!" near the end, right when the fuzzed, glitched-out snare drum starts to kick in. I think it's bad-ass. I think "I turn My Camera On" is more sexy than bad ass. I mean, the thing gets compared to Prince all the time.

Agree with these two. The opening drumbeat on the former is especially bad-ass.

The Rolling Stones - "Rocks Off"

Agree with this one too.

How about Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life'?

if it's good enough to make it on "Sports Anthems Hall of Fame" circa 1996, then it's good enough for me !

i still don't think you can make it through a sports venue without hearing this goddamn song.
