impressive score so far of 90... was expecting high 60s- mid-70s for this one based on my opinion.

I'm not a huge Interpol fan, and don't particularly care for this album, but that first track must have a busted wazoo, because it's got hella atmosphere coming out of it

Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

I know it is a bit late but I just found the legal stream for this album. It is here for anyone that is interested. I really like it so far.

Thanks bro. I haven't heard it yet, so I'll give it a listen. Antics hasn't aged that well for me, but I still like their first album quite a bit. With the good reviews it's getting, I'm a bit interested in hearing this.

Wow, "Pioneer To The Falls" is great. Interpol continue to impress me by sounding good while sounding exactly the same. Usually that does nothing for me.

I've listened through this twice, and I'm not too impressed. Its not just that it sounds similar to their last two albums, I can live with that. New Pornos, Spoon others have released similar albums that didn't break much new ground, but at the same time are fantastic. But these songs sound IDENTICAL to previous songs. The guitar licks are EXACTLY the same as past songs. The song structures, vocals, all of it, its just too much. The closer is the only song with a hint of newness to it. Still, if it were the first Interpol album you ever heard, you'd probably think its great.

i'm with Hophead on this one. on first listen i thought it was Antics Pt. 2
After a few more listens, it still sounds like that's what they did. Pretty disappointing for me

Ouch! Scores of 30 from Tiny Mix Tapes and 25 from Stylus Magazine. Who pissed in their Cheerios?

I like the album a lot. Why is it that when an artist tries to alter its sound, they are criticized and called inconsistent (See reviews for the White Stripes' "Get Behind Me Satan"), but if they stick close to their formula, they are called stagnant or unimaginative?

It seems to me like the criticism of Admire is another example of expectations leading to unfair reviews - Much like the Strokes' "Room on Fire." (Admit it, that album was as good, if not better than "Is this It?", but it was unfairly criticized as being a retread of "Is this It?")

I like this album, but there are certain tracks that kind of ruin it. "No I in Threesome" is sorta dumb, could have benefited from a sense of humor. There are a few boring tracks in the middle, too. But "Pioneer" and "Mammoth" are awesome.

i actually enjoy this album more than antics but not as much as bright lights. and... I find it ironic that people use "consistency" i.e., sounding the same to praise Spoon, but on the other hand, use it to slight interpol.
