Has anyone heard of this peculiar band??? They're sort of a blend of power-rock and rap (but, not rap-rock) with a hint of grunge. At first glance, MSI seems to be like an ICP knock-off...but, it's not. The lyrics are pretty nonsensical--being exactly what it claims to be---mindless self indulgence. With song names like "Faggot" and "I Hate Jimmy Page" (both exceptional songs, by the way) they are rather profane and controversial. They have released two CDs (Frankenstein Girls Seem Strangely Sexy and Alienating our Audience) and have performed live with ICP, and Disturbed. They are one of the best---Id hate to call them new FGSSS was released a while ago---"different" band out there!

They have a CD before the other two: "Tight." It's about half as short as FGWSSS, but it's more focused and varied (I might even say it's better). Too bad it's now out of print.
I don't really listen to them much anymore, but I am looking forward to their new CD. The stuff from their "Despierta los Ninos" (I think that's the name) EP was really great.

I, admittedly, haven't heard any Mindless Self Indulgence. I've heard a lot about them, and one of my friends is really fond of them, but I can't get past their irreverence and I'd approach its absurdity like a novelty record.
I listened to MSI when thier first two albums, Tight and Frankenstein ... came out and I liked them a lot. Tight is a really good album. Yet, MSI get's old really quick.
Everytime I play "Bitches" in the club at a punk show, the crowd goes nuts! One of my favorite, most reliable club rockers that the crowd rarely is familiar with! One of my good buddies is totally into them, having met them and everything. They remind me of Monastat 7 or Anal Cunt but from more punk origins instead of metal.

MSI never gets old, EVER! I've listened to them 24-7 for a few years now and love them just the same...and how many people can say they've hung out with 'em, eh? They're one crazy-ass bunch of mindless krackers if you ask me. lYn-Z gived me a kiss wee hooo and Urine licked me! It makes me all giddy and giggly thinking about it. They put on the most rockin' fuckin' show I've ever been to Mindless Kracker Forever! \m/ Peace Love & MSI

Interesting note, MSI's first album was this horrible generic industrial self-titled EP in 1997... ridiculously hard to find but I have my ways. It's not funny, it's not wierd, it's not irreverent, and therefore it's a noteworthy piece, regardless of how terrible it is. Fun to hear the beginnings of a band.
