Does Emusic have DRM?
Nope. 100% DRM free. And, their encryption is at a higher bitrate than what Radiohead offers. Their downloads are at 192 kbps.
What's more, if you download a track, you can download it an unlimited amount of times and it does not count against your credits. So, you can download it onto multiple computers for free.
If you're interested in joining eMu, IM me. I will give them your e-mail. If you sign up, I get 50 free downloads. You also get 50 free downloads when you sign up. Then, I would not have to choose which albums to download - I'll download them all!!!
i haven't heard all your choices, but i liked the new caribou album. its solid, especially if you digged their other album, oh and their live tour cd is good if you can find it

I've just listened to that Akron/Family album and I confess it made a positive first impression. I'll definitely be returning to it again, but it already sounds like a contender for Top 20. Thanks for the recommendation, whoever that was.
I have tried to get into that St. Vincent album, but I haven't been successful. I like weird music, but something about the songs or the production make me think it is weird for weird's sake. I just cannot get into it.
