Anyone had a chance to pick this up yet? I listened to the mp3s on the website and have ordered the cd in. 3 weeks to wait... Does anyone who already have this have any opinions?

Black Sheep Boy is a pretty good cd. One of the best I've heard this year.

I'd say it's a year end top ten contender.

I thought it was only 'okay' at first, but it seems to grow on me more every time I listen to it.

Was my #1 for the year when I first heard it and is still holding up 3 months later, although there are a few albums creeping up on it.

It's a good album, and like Bob said, a strong top 10 contender for me as well. "Black" is one of the best songs I've heard this year.

I'm going to order this CD soon. I listened to it a couple of times, and several of the tracks blew me away. I thought some others were a little weak, but once I listen to it some more they could grow on me. I've been reading the lyrics from the album and they're really good. I think this one has a good chance to make my year-end top 10.

this album was totally a pleasant surprise for me. i had read a few reviews here and there saying that it was good, but i definitely didn't expect it to be a good as it is.

i've probably listened to it as much as anything else this year.
