Hey guys check this band out. Here's their myspace.
They're a Montreal band that a few blogs I read have been raving about. You can definitely hear the Arcade Fire similarities, but with a tad more noise and synths. This shit is fantastic. No kidding, this is amazing stuff.

I've got to get the album. I've been listening to the 4 songs on their myspace on repeat.
These Montreal indie bands can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. Maybe we're just hearing the cream of the crop, but this type of music is right up my alley.

i saw those guys live and didnt like the show. I mean, they are 17-18 years old. Those guys still have a lot to work on and will maybe be doing something eventually good someday.
Unbeknownst to me, eMusic posted this album for download a couple of weeks ago. Usually, they let me know when an unsigned band I recommend has been signed. Anyway, I'm glad to have this album now.

Originally posted by public access: I noticed emusic this listed as a 2009 release. It seems it has been around since '07, but does this make it eligible for this year's year-end lists?
I haven't heard the album all the way through - my monthly downloads don't arrive 'till tomorrow - so this is a hypothetical question, of course.
Technically, it's still unreleased so, yeah, it's eligible.
