Is anybody looking forward to this record at all? I just heard Mew's first US release, The Zookeeper's Boy EP, and I really like it a lot. It's kind of dream-pop/emo/indie rock that reminds me of Death Cab in some places, Facing New York in others...after doing a little research on the internet, I found out these guys are from Denmark, and the new album is just a US release of an album they released in Denmark last year. Are there any Danish posters here?

Sorry, that was rambling, but I'm in a hurry and wanted to post before I left home.

Well, I'm definitely looking forward to it, but I don't know when I'll get a copy of the full-length. The EP, however, was a really great way to whet my appetite for the album.

Where did you hear the album? Did you buy the import?

my first expierience with the music was when i went to the bahamas for spring break and i went on the lagoon to find my friend. When i found him he was completely zoned out staring out on the lagoon with his headphones on. I asked him what was up and he said take these and handed me the headphones, and said "now do you understand?"

i laid in the sand for like an hour listening to the album and it gave me a cool feeling i had actually never really expierienced. that's where i first heard the album, i don't own it, however.
