^ totally dude! we are on the same page here, I love the washed out EP "Life Of Leisure". And "chillgaze" or "glo-fi" or whatever, I hope they keep bringing it cause I love it.

Glo-fi is okay (but not as succinct and unlame as epop. C'mon) but chillgaze is way too crappy a name for such a good pseudogenre. Is bands-that-sound-kinda-like-TTA+PandaBear too long a name? Hopefully it doesn't go the way of dancepunk or freak-folk and burn itself out.
So far the title track off Psychic Chasms is my favourite, but Deadbeat Summer is pretty great. Terminally Chill definitely has the best title.
I've only heard a track, but Small Black are gonna be glo-fiers to watch out for. Despicable Dogs is great. But, if I had to choose glo-fiers, jj are my favourite, and totally the most fun.

^ just checked out Small Black, and they are indeed awesome. Also, Washed out came out with an LP called "high times" that's pretty good. not as good as "life of leisure", but worth a listen nonetheless.

God this first post grinds my gears . No Age has produced a much better and more interesting album than Neon Indian, which definitely falls MORE mention in line than genre shtick (glo-fi, chillwave, whatever) than No Age, which basically just sounds like a lot of Indie Rock did in the 90s. I also see no such "lo-fi aesthetic"...that doesn't really apply to No Age either, who just happen to use a lot of texture and mix vocals lower than most. No tape hiss or recording errors come to mind on Psychic Chasms. "Deadbeat Summer" is the best song on the album and even so it's only "pretty good"--nothing amazing. That said I do like a lot of groups in this mini-genre, whatever it's called. I think the Ayrton Senna EP is very, very good for one.

Wait. No Age makes fuzzy rock songs. Neon Indian sounds like Max Tundra took Ritalin. I see no comparison between the two...
------ Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

This album's alright, but didn't really bowl me over. It's cute I guess.

I like it but it's impossible to listen to on IPod earbuds. The whole album is recording with emphasis on the high tones. It is quite piercing to the ears in places.

I really can't get into No Age...don't really know why.
