Yeah, it does seem like a lot of hyped bands have terrible names. I like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, but their name is definitely one of the very worst I've ever heard - right up there with Dogs Die In Hot Cars and Boy Least Likely To.

Some of them have decent names, though. Voxtrot and Beirut are pretty good names.
