i m hearing now "Plan your escape" by Girls In Hawaii. i dont know if anyone , except L. R. William Spencer (# 4 in his personal list), mentioned them here so far but i have to say that its a good record , with a warm and familiar feeling n with beautiful melodies.in some parts it reminds me of my beloved Grandaddy n probably that makes me like Girls In Hawaii even more.

I've heard it and enjoy it too. Should slide somewhere in my top 20 this year. Good record. Their debut was fantastic as well.

Its top 20 on my list. It has a gorgeous distinctive vibe to it, but I find some moements (particulry vocally) repetitive.

This album totally floored me. In my opinion, it's just way better than it has any right to be.
funny (n sad) not to see pitchfork raving about that excellent belgian group .i m in love with their new (second) album now.you should do the same...
I dont like the album much, sounds a lot like grandaddy who i do like, but their songs are pretty repetative so i was pretty sick of the album after a few listens.
