Anyone else a big Fan of Arturo Perez-Reverte? "The Club Dumas" is easily one of my favorite books from recent years (granted the movie version sucked). I've also read "The Seville Communion" and "the Flanders Panel", which I also liked. If you are a fan, maybe you could give me some recommendations of other stuff I might like, excluding the obvious like "The DaVinci Code".

I don't dig the Stripes, but I'll go for Har Mar.

I hadn't seen this thread before. I am a huge APR fan. Do you read him in English or Spanish? My favorites have been the Queen of the South, and the entire Alatriste series. There are five in Spanish, of which two, I believe, have come out it English. It's Perez-Reverte doing his best Dumas impersonation. It also happens to be one of my favorite periods of Spanish history.

I wonder if you're mythologizing me, like I do you
