The Alchemist is about a boy who's a shepherd who decides to sell all his sheep and leave to pursue his treasure. The whole point of the book is to show that you can travel everywhere and go through many experiences to get what you want. In the end the treasure lies at home right where you started.
Hi! I also finished reading The Alchemist! It was really awesome! I'm studying in a Film School right now I'm taking up Cinematography. After I graduate in IAFT, I will promise myself to make a movie of "The Alchemist". What a wonderful book!
I have read it, and the only thing I took from it was that sometimes, you miss the things that are most obvious, because you always see it without really seeing.
