Nobble Hospital of the Aegean by Paul Judges has been a refreshing change to many novels I've read.

I have recently enjoyed Memory of Running by Ron McClarty.........though this story set mainly in the Greek islands is quite different.

We follow the main character as he interacts with local inhabitants, and reflects on love and natural beauty.
