I recently read the first two books in the series and really enjoyed both. They dont seem to be that popular though. Has anybody else read any of them? The series is by Clive Barker, which I believe is known for scary stories ect.

Read the books??? I love both books, and I have read them both repeatedly. THey are fascinating really, and I adore all the creepy poems and the amazing artwork in there!!!

Abarat is an awsome set of books, Carrion was my favorite, he is so mysterious. when Magan told me to read tham i asked why, she said they were extreamly strange, but ok. she was wrong they were great!

i loved abarat! it is certianly one of my favroite books. john mischeif is my favroite <3 but its sad you dont see him much Frowner i heard there making a movie on it, they better not mess it up or ill kill them Mad
