I never played F-Zero X, but FF7 and Goldeneye are both classic games. I don't even like the Final Fantasy series very much, but I think FF7 was incredible.

I completely agree with you 27. I like the new games but in my opinion nothing beats goldeneye. And Final Fantasy Seven was the last FF that I liked. ---------------------------------- Employee of the month awards are the opiate of the masses. For the potheadsGang Starr

That last generation is great. Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time.... wow.
I reserve the right to be entirely wrong.

Yeah, Ocarina of Time is probably the best game I've ever played. I'm also a huge fan of the original Mario Party. When my brothers have their friends over we have so much fun playing that game.
Goldeneye is great as well, and though I've beaten every level on it, I suck at multiplayer.
I probably like Super Nintendo as much as 64. We've got about 60 games for that sucker. Mariokart, Joe and Mac, Megaman, Turtles in Time, Aladdin, F-Zero, the Madden Series, Baseball Simulator 2000, I love them all.

I admit, the last generation has had a number of incredible games. Some of them I still play to this day. But I will say that we can't live in the past forever. This generation of gaming may not seem good, but we need to continue to experiement with different gameplay styles and continue forward to make new classics for future generations. Besides, some don't like this generation because of the poor quality of several different mainstream games, but they have not played other less-known games on our current consoles that are instant classics or incredible in all means of gameplay. For those who don't like the new Final Fantasy games (which I do admit are crap) or prefer Goldeneye over the Halo series (and I'm not saying the Halo series is bad, infact, I prefer it over Goldeneye), they usually haven't played incredible games like Katamari Damacy or Rez.
