I have been trying to remember the name of this game that I played as a child back in the mid 90's, and it's driving me absolutely nuts. I think it was for a Macintosh, and it was some sort of whale adventure/educational game. You could go out on a boat and take pictures of whales when they surfaced, then you would identify the type of whale. There was also some sort of mystery component involving an old whaling captain from like the 1800's; the game took place in the present day, but you had to go through the house and gather clues to find out about him and solve some kind of mystery. Does this sound familiar to anyone? The basic gist of the game was to learn about whales, solve the mystery of the whaling captain and generally "save the whales." There was also a similar sort of game involving grizzly bears that I played around the same time, but that I can no longer remember the name of either. Any help would be much appreciated!
