As I sit here editing user reviews (fun!), I have the movie All The Real Girls on cable. I've seen it before, maybe a year ago. What an outstanding little film. I don't want to give any of it away if you haven't seen it, just check it out. It captures a certain emotion that few films have before...

I completely agree with you both. I was reading about the film in Esquire a few years ago and caught it on video. Since then, I've seen it at least three times and shared it with friends who've fallen for it's subtle charm as well. It's incredibly easy to relate to -- so much so that you can't help but recall similar moment sin your life as the story unfolds. The scene with the two on the playground is easily my favorite -- it rips my heart out every time.

Suggests Days of Heaven in its still moments, and unlike the Malick, the scale is smaller, small mill towns, transient seasons, like love itself.
