I know this is probably considered action, but this forum needed something new. What did you guys think of the film? I very much enjoyed it. You just can't go wrong with Denzel these days. I thought his chemistry with Dakota Fanning was great, and I really felt the pain of Denzel's Creasy bleeding through.

Yea, well you see this one? This was my dream, my wish....and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back.

I thought Man On Fire was a good movie, I liked the sound track, and thought it was visually pleasing as well. I thought Densel played a good role and Dakota is a strong young actoress aswell.

Maybe "Man On Fire" is one of those movies that you have to have children to enjoy. However, I wasn't compelled to care one lick about any of these people. Sure it was kicking emotion around, but I was unable to feel it with Denzel. Also, the filming style is becoming a cliche itself. The shaky "lets-be-gritty" sort of hyperactive camera. Really though, if you take a second to think about what this film was all about at the base of it all: Girl gets kidnapped, man seeks revenge. Maybe its just me, but I didn't dig it.

This is the thread (is there another one? I think so) which lists the original post first and then everything goes in reverse order, latest to earliest. I'm going to see if we can fix this. Anybody find the other one, PM me or another mod.

I think Dakota Fanning is one of the best young actresses out there. I def. enjoyed Man on Fire. I thought it was so cute how attached denzel and dakota get.

This movie had a really powerful story line, with passionate characters. I loved it!
Props to Dakota Fanning and Denzel Washington.

I rented this at the same time that I rented "The Punisher" (I haven't rented anything in months I owe Blockbuster about 30$ in late fees) and I thought that it was very good compared to the latter. "Man on Fire" actually has emotion throughout the entire movie. My rating: 60/100
