There's probably a topic like this somewhere, but I'm restarting it

What are your favorite groups that aren't from the U.S.?
(I'm tempted to say not from England either but go ahead and post those if you want)
Here are a few of mine:

Rammstein (Germany)
Lostprophets (Wales)
Quarashi (Iceland)
Sum 41 (Canada, hey its foreign)
Daft Punk (France)
Genitallica -pronounced henitallica- (Mexico)

There's a thread very similar to this one here:

http://forums.metacritic.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/528...430052704#3430052704

I'm moving this one to World Music as well. I'll leave this one up, but try to avoid duplicate threads of the same topic.

i am sadly lacking in world music the only foreign language band I dig at the moment is Einsturzende Neubauten

if you count Canadian
Wolf parade, Arcade Fire, Godspeed you black emperor.

There is also mexican and adopted irish group Rodrigo y Gabriela... acoustic guitars instrumental genius they blow the gypsy kings out of the water.
