Yup, she's having a rough day. And what's up with there being so many loose ends? Is it me, or are we going to be coming back to the dead rock starstory in the future?

I'm guessing that storyline will be ongoing. Maybe it will turn into a season-long mystery, rather than a several episode arc?
As to Art's comment, I think that speculation is legit. Maybe this is a way to set up the departure of Marg Helgenberger? I don't know what kind of contract she's got, but maybe this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back?

Did you call that one, or what? Now, the story has become a cliffhanger to be concluded next Thursday! However, I must say, I hope Sara Sidle dies. I just hate the character (not the actress, herself)! She's extremely judgmental, overly opinionated, and, well, she's a BITCH! Yes, I know her backstory, but that's no reason to be the way she is. She shoulda been fired when she cussed out Ecklie & Catherine! How Grissom has fallen for her is beyond me, that woman has waaaaay too much baggage!
What are the chances that they kill her off? Well, last season we had the same type of cliffhanger with Nick in trouble and they got there just in time. So, the real question should be, "Will they repeat themselves and do what's completely anti-climatic & predictable, or will they go the other way and kill her off?" I am truly hoping they go for an "unexpected" ending! PLEEEEEAAAASE let 'em go for the unexpected ending!

I KNEW IT!!!!!This season begins with a stupid and very predictable plotline! They basically screamed what was going to happen, several minutes before the end, when they kept cutting to her eyes over and over again! And one more angry face for good measure!

Dude, you had to know she was going to live. Very few shows (besides 24 and Lost will bring back a character only to have them die in the first episode.

Yeah, I pretty much knew she'd live. I was just reallyhoping this would be the end of her. It was a fool's hope, I suppose. However, 'Criminal Minds' is geting rid of Gideon in one way or another next week!

Last night's was awful! I could barely pay attention, but I did catch that Sara is switching shifts. So this may mean LESS Sara Sidle, afterall! I was afraid it was gonna be more. Especially when it seemed last night was all about her and Grissom. The cases they were working on even sucked monkey butt!

WHOO-HOO!!! WHOO-HOO!!! WHOO-HOO!!! Sara Sidle's gone!!!!!! Man, I haven't been watchin 'em since the second episode of the season because I saw a preview where Grissom was gonna ask her to marry him. However, I was bored tonight, and channel surfin', and decided to catch the last 15 minutes of it to see what the "old gang" was up to. It was one I wish I woulda caught! They had brung back the extremely intelligent little girl who Sara had suspected of killing a high school girl who had picked on her. They had her brother on trial at the time for the murder and she had testified that she had done the killing. By the end of that episode, I think her brother was found not guilty and she ended up revealing to Sara that she really didn't do it. Now, in tonight's episode, the brother is in jail for the murder (I'm guessing) again. By the time I came in, the little girl was in the process of being set up to confess. She, of course, didn't fall for it and her brother committed suicide. Sara, doing exactly the thing I hate her ALWAYS doing: taking the case waaaay too personally, decides to go to the little girl's school and show her the picture of her dead brother to get her to confess. What kind of reaction could she have expected? The girl freaks out so bad, that Sara goes back to CSI headquarters, gives Grissom a kiss, walks back to the locker room and rips her nametag off of her vest! They finally ended the show with Grissom reading her "Dear, John" letter as she takes a cab outta Las Vegas! It is now safe to watch 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigators', once again!
Well, at least for a few episodes, anyway. She'll probably be back. I remember when they acted like Grissom was leaving for good (I didn't want that to be true!), but it was only for a few shows and then he was back.
