One thing I hope the show does is make the jokes about black people that only blacks can make. Like the Dave Chappelle sketch where he's in blackface howling about how much he loves fried chicken, but it's not racist because he's black.
Actually, Dave Chappelle thought it was racist & never wanted that sketch aired. He noticed white people laughed a little too much at it. It is one of the reasons he left the show.
'The Boondocks' has only one real racist & it's Ruckus, the catch is that he's black & he hates black people.
This is like Chappelle's black white supremist sketch & it
is funny! As for the violence between the boys, it is reminicant of Anime & that is what I believe they were shooting for. Although, I remember fighting with my brother & it was only a notch below this. (We didn't know martial arts & didn't use a sword but, there was chair throwing & I did use a broomstick on him once.)
The humor is great & the show is nowhere near as preachy as the comic strip. I love intelligent shows & this one is smart & funny. A perfect combination! I'm looking forward to the next season.

blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called
'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this
Monkey_Boy?!"
