Where are the haters? I know they're here somewhere. Do you think Jon and Kate exploit their kids for monetary gain? What do you think of their parenting? Do you think the show should be taken off the air?

I don't think they're purposfully ignoring their childrens' best interests just to get rich, but I do believe that's basically what's happening.. On the most recent show they did Kate answered that the children won't complain about the show when they have enough money to go to college. When questioned by CNN about the childrens' welfare, TLC, (the network the show airs on) defended the airing of the childrens' lives by saying that the show provides them economic security and the luxury of a mom who can stay at home and raise them.

1) If they weren't able to financially care for the children the CPS should have gotten involved.
2) Kate was staying at home anyway.
3) She's not doing a good job of parenting them.

Kate and TLC are under the impression that money solves all of lifes problems. TO BE CONTINUED.

She's obviously a bad case of "Rich people have no reason to complain." Those types of people are the ones who get hit the hardest by the real world. They obviously haven't dealt with any other kind of problem and hence have no problem solving and coping skills for when they inevitably do. The problem here is, it's the CHILDREN who are going to have to cope with their inevitable emotional and psychological problems because of the show, not Kate. There are worse things than not having money and Kate's going to have to figure that out the hard way and it's sad that her children have no choice but to do so also.
Now...the show itself. They do no documenting of actual parenting of multiple children. They can't because Jon and Kate don't know anything about parenting. She gives her children a direct order and when they don't oblige she lets them get away with it and she does the task herself. These children are going to be let out into the world without any life skills. A severe handicap. TO BE CONTINUED,

And don't just take my word for it. Go watch Nanny 911 or read Dr. Spock. Any knowledgeable person will tell you caving into children and not teaching them to respect authority and follow orders spoils them and spoiled children end up emotionally immature, make poor decisions, do drugs, unprotected sex, you name it. I DEFINITELY see that in the Gosselin sextuplets future. Hell, I'm IN high school and I see the impulsive thinking and bad decision making first hand. And I know the parents who are responsible and their "parenting" was just like the Gosselins'. And it's not like the sextuplets are intelligent enough to learn these life skills on their own (like I and many other intellectual kids had to), they don't have the brains for it. They're four and they can't read. (As far as I know) They're almot five and their language is on par with that of a two-year-old's. Their brains aren't developing efficiently enough for them to be of high intelligence. Who's fault is this? You guessed it, Jon and Kate. TBC...

Just go back and look at the first one hour special Jon and Kate did and where the twins were at four-years-old. They were pretty bright. They communicated well and understanding and I'll say mature. Or at least more mature than the sextuplets are at four. I know it's hard to parent and teach multiples but if the show has afforded her so much time to raise her children why isn't she?

The show isn't a documentary and so far Jon and Kate can't come up with a solid reason for continuing to do it. It's just a product placement business venture. Notice the close ups on the kids toys and shampoo and other products? Notice how they can't take a vacation without plugging the name of the resort or use a toy without constant repetition of the brand name? They get paid for that and it's the only reason they're still on the air. Way to exploit your kids, but hey, the money's good and that's all that matters. Kate herself even admitted that they've given up a lot of their privacy, but what about the kids' privacy? TBC.

Kate didn't mention the fact that a great deal of the childrens' privacy has been given up without their consent. There are too many shots of the girls without clothes on for it to be appropriate. And they're not babies, they're four-year-old girls. It's NOT appropriate to show images of them with nothing but diapers on and completely naked from a side angle. THIS CRAP IS ON DVD! How can anyone still defend the show when pedophiles are going to be buying these DVDs? I want to know! And their potty training is on DVD, too. I wonder how long it will take for those images to get printed out and passed around whatever school these children will attend. These children will be tortured at school, this is inevitable. Pray for these children and hope that there is a higher being who is listening. I'd like to organize a protest, actually. Real action. I want to know everyone else's opinion on this matter.
