Did anybody see Martha Stewart's Apprentice today?

It seemed okay, with a good group of candidates. But I don't think Stewart's arrogant enough to carry the show as well as Donald does.

I caught the latter half of Martha's show today. Is she going to say, "You just don't fit in" instead of "you're fired" every episode? Or maybe just "Goodbye" which she said next? Felt a little anticlimactic. And her letter to the loser routine didn't seem very effective at all. I wish she could tweak the formula a little more. Anyway, it wasn't my choice to watch the first ep, and I won't be watching it any more (if I have a choice).

I think I'll be watching just to see the crazy guy Jeff melt down...He is cruising for a bruising in every way possible.

I initially liked this show. A cut-throat business mentality presented in a reality show was a novel idea. I found myself trying to discover what practices and mindsets Trump valued as great business potential. But, when he did the Regis thing and turned into a "showbiz" spectacle I stopped watching. Trump was looking for ratings and entertainment buzz at the expense of insight into the working of one of America's great business empires.

Martha Stewart's Apprentice ended up being really weak overall.

By now the formula has gotten so stale that even the LA move probably won't revitalize it.

But at least with Trump, you get the idea he's invested in it. By the end of the show it was known that Stewart didn't like any of the candidates. Calling them 'exhibitionists' and complaining that she didn't have any role in casting.
