I couldn’t find a thread under Television about Supernatural, I’m wondering if anyone else on Metacritic watches it? It’s definitely one of my favourite shows at moment, I loved the first two seasons, and although it’s still early days for the third season, it’s also panning out to be pretty good as well, as so far I am always left wanting to see the next episode.

Overall, I love the way the show mixes old school rock n’ roll with demon hunting and mythology, and the way Dean and Sam have been trained and raised in it all.

You like Supernatural!?!?! I'm in love with you! That's my favorite show! I don't know many people who like it and my friends who do like it were introduced to it by me. I saw the premier and I loved it. I like cried when Sam died. But I knew that he had to come back some how. The second season was AWESOME. But I think the third season episodes haven't had the certain fresh taste that the second season had. Except for the episode where Gordon Walker comes back for revenge. That episode was the BEST! It sucked how the last 2 episodes have been reruns, but it's a new Christmas episode this week. It should be pretty good. I hope it's a rerun Christmas week, cuz I'm not gonna be able to catch it. And it I miss it, it's gonna be the only new episode in all season 2 and 3 that I haven't watched the night of.

It’s good to see that there’s folk on Metacritic who share my love for Supernatural! Most of my friends are really into it; I stumbled upon it by accident during Season 1 and kinda just got hooked.

I think Season 3 has been really awesome, maybe it’s just me, but it seems like so far, nearly every episode of Season 3 has started off with someone dying in a very graphic nature. Usually, every episode starts off with someone dying in Supernatual, but Season 3 has just seemed really violent, not that I’m complaining, just an observation

I can’t wait to see the next episode, I think the delay was due partly because of thanksgiving being on the same night or something like that, I also heard the writers strike might have had something to do with it, either way I’m in Australia, and all I’ve heard a rumours.

The recent Ep where Gordon came back was pretty awesome! I loved the sweet irony of how he was turned into a vampire. I can’t wait to see how everything else pans out, it seems Sam is becoming more and more ruthless every Episode, is it the possible Demon inside him? I’m interested to see what will come of that, and how Dean is going to get out of the deal he made.

It's not possible that an actual demon is inside of him unless its like a really subtle demon with tons of power, cuz Sam has touched holy water and salt and iron and crosses and has been through devil's traps and other demon repelling stuff. I doubt what came back from the dead is "100% pure Sam" (quoted from the Yellow-Eyed Demon).
On the season premier, "7 Deadly Sins," I found it very grotesque when the black hunter guy drank the drain cleaner. Very disturbing, even for me and I'm a guy who doesn't mind some gore once in awhile.
The beginning of the episodes are predictable. I'm always like, "She's gonna die" or "He's gonna get possessed."

There's a writer's strike? Damn. There was one for Heroes and one for Lost too.

That scene where the guy drank the drain cleaner was pretty twisted

As for Sam, when I refer to the “demon inside him”, by that I mean what you quoted about the Yellow Eyed Demon or otherwise known as ‘Azazel’ saying that what Dean brought back may not be 100% pure Sam, also don’t forget the abilities Sam had prior to dying, which seemed to be given to him by Azazel.

Yeah, I didn't really think about the powers that Azazel gave him and how they could effect Sam. Though, it seems as though the symptoms of Azazel would decrease after Azazel died instead of increase like Sam's symptoms have seemed to do.

I wonder is there's something special behind that awesome leather jacket that he always wears. It was unusual for Supernatural to have that many flashbacks if any. It's obvious that she's not, but when they do the cutting scenes they usually put put a little blood on the arm and the knife and they just spread it in the cutting direction witht eh knife while rolling. In this episode, the old lady actress smears the fake blood a little bit to the left and you can see Jared's skin fine adn uncut. You should go check it out! When I saw it saw it I was like, "Ha! Damn! That's hirlarious! I got to post something about that on the thread!"

Supernatural is a really good show.
I'm not usually into shows like that, mainly because I'm watching UFC, CSI, or Headbanger's Ball (Not much into TV).
But other than that I do occasionally like to kick back on the CW and watch it.

I recently saw the Christmas Special, I was worried they were going to do a corny “Evil Santa” episode, when I heard about it, which is kinda what they lead you to believe was going to happen, but then it turned out to be pagan gods were the culprit, which was cool.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. It was probably funny for Jensen Ackles to do the part where Dean sings Silent Night (really badly). Cuz Jensen sings and plays the guitar as a hobby.

i can never catch this show. even if i tried i will forget. and i heard it was cool, but i haven't seen it yet, so i have no comment!

Anyone know when the next new episode is? I don't feel like looking it up...

for those that don't know, last thursday was a fresh episode. Rumor has it that there are going to be only 4 more episodes and then the series is cancelled.

I saw the new ep on the weekend, it was great.
