I personally love this show. Some of the funniest parody/tribute on TV. It's an Adult Swim show, but it looks much better then most of their animation - don't think Aqua Teen Hunger Force, think The Boondocks. Plus, the featured music is hilarious and yet awesome at the same time.

Just a quick description. The show follows the members of the most successful band in the world, Dethklok, through their strange activities. Things such as summoning a lake troll that destroys Finland, recording an album at the deepest part of the ocean, or entering a deep depression that can only be cured by learning the blues. The combination of these added with more typical band activities - throwing rock & roll birthday parties, writing new material, and working on side projects - make this one of my favorite shows.

Recommended episodes to check out:
Episode Three: Birthdayface
Episode Four: Dethtroll

"And now, the blackest present for the most brutal of all bass players...nothing!"

I watched that episode last night! To be more specific, the band is a parody of death metal. I especially love the Happy Birthday song, "Birthday Dethday," on episode three, I now play it whenever somebody has a birthday.

I am going to warn everyone that you should probably watch the series in sequential order (otherwise the strange clown scenese might scare you away)

Dethklok also has its own myspace page featuring a couple of their tracks.
