There is a Family guy discussion and a Simpsons discussion, I just had to make a South Park one. I started watching the show more recently and it is hilarious. Not only is it absurdly funny but the 2d animation is great. You've gotta love Cartman and the rest of the gang. What does everyone else think of the show? Any memorable moments.

South Park is very funny. Sometimes its a bit sick and twisted, but usually its great.

Hmmm...One funny moment I remember is in an episode where the kids are re-enacting Jesus' crucifixion.

So Cartman plays Jesus and they hang him on the cross and he just hangs there for a long time, and finally Officer Barbrady comes walking buy. Now you may remember from previous episodes that Officer Barbrady can't read very well, and is just learning the alphabet.

So Cartman Yells to the Officer:

Cartman: "Officer Barbrady, Get me down from here!

Officer Barbrady just stands and looks, noticing that the cross that Cartman is hanging from resembles the letter "T"

So he says:

Officer Barbrady: "T! T is for TURTLE!! HA HA HA!!"

And he walks off.

I've been watching South Park since "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". I will not even bother mentioning my favorite moments because there are just too many. What I love about South Park is that it picks on current events and Parker and Stone are not afraid to express their opinions.

The episode with the exotic weapons from the far east, especially when Butters gets the shuriken in his eye! The Scott Tennerman episode. The cripple fight. Red sleigh down. So many more...

Did anyone see last weeks Southpark with Paris Hilton?! Damn, was that ever funny! Whenever something needs to be torn down, Trey and Matt save the day!

I didn't see it, I'll try to catch it on Saturday then. My personal favorites are the "Towlie" episode, the "Harry Potter" episode, and the "Election" episode.(But the entire first season is solid gold)

I think that is the last episode of this season, we'll be getting it here on Friday the 28th.

The Paris Hilton episode seems to be a new classic. Everybody I know who saw it absolutely loved it and even the ones who are regular watchers of the show consider it one of their best, and I do too.

My favorite from the most recent season was the "You Got Served" episode, but my favorite episode overall was the Terrance and Phillip "Not Without My Anus" episode. Nobody I know besides my brothers have seen it because I think they've only aired in once. The first time I saw it, my mouth was on the floor in disbelief that the "Who's Cartman's dad?" cliffhanger would go unresolved for another couple of weeks. I had, however, taped it and watched it again and again. I soon grew to love it and every one of its quirks. It's a very important episode because it establishes Trey and Matt's vision of Canada and introduces the "I'm not hiding any bombs! You need a rest, buddy!" Saddam Hussein.

Also, my favorite line from the episode:

Terrance: Oh, Celine Dion! I was going to make us a family again but now you've slept with Ugly Bob!
Celine Dion: Why are you calling him Ugly Bob?
--> Phillip: BECAUSE THAT'S HIS NAME YOU STUPID BITCH!

I saw a cartoon online called "Princess" that Matt and Trey did. I hear they got offered some dough to do an online cartoon and after the people paying saw the first two pilot episodes they cut our favorite south park guys off and refused to pay for the crap. I personally think the shows a hoot. Anyone care for a link? (I dont want to post it before I know, its very offensive)

That Princess cartoon was probably the most sinister thing I've ever seen.

Princess is bad, but its great. Can you even IMAGINE what kind of balls it takes to make something like this and show it to someone that wants South Park like material? South Park is PG compared to this business.

I think the novelty has worn off the show and at best there is about 2 minutes worth of funny material per show. The South Park Movie and Team America were hilarious so I know these guys are capable of much more.

New South Park tonight, I am very excited. But I agree that it hasn't been as good in recent seasons as the originals such as "Chicken lover" and "Cartman gets an anal probe."

I love the new South Park episodes. The first 3 seasons were pretty much all dick and fart jokes. The show is much more political now making several important statements. I learned a lot about the beliefs of Mormons with their Joseph Smith episode, it really helped put my relationship with my mormon buddy in perspective.

I didn't like last week's episode, it was probably the first time that I actually didn't laugh during the entire show. I hope this is a hint as to how the rest of the season will be, guess we can all find out in a couple days.

Wait, your hoping that it IS a hint of whats to come. Meaning you hope the rest of the episodes are as bad as you felt about the one you just saw?!

Lol, please clarify...

"Shut your f*ing face Uncle F*er"

Btw, thats not meant to be taken as a statement toward anyone. Its simply a quote from the show/movie (was it in the movie, i can't remember)...
