O.k, this is really kind of obscure and I don't have a lot of details, but maybe someone can help me out.

I'm trying to find this song by a band in the 90's. They had a minor hit in the US rock charts around 96-99, this was post-grunge and I think around the same time Oasis was big in the US. I believe they were a one hit wonder, and they sounded like the chemical brothers somewhat. Big guitars, some 303 synths wizzing in the background, and a guy singing or rather shouting some lyrics that I can't remember.

Was it "Firestarter" by The Prodigy? That's the only thing I can think of that was kind of a hit and sounded like the Chemical Brothers.

The description does sound a lot like the Prodigy. Could've been "Breathe" by them, also. That song had a lot of radio play too.

maybe chumbawamba? They're more of a one hit wonder - and the sing/shouting fits.

I wouldn't say Chumbawamba sounds anything like the Chemical Brothers though. And yuck, does anyone really want to find that god awful Chumbawamba song?

Its either Prodigy or the Dust Brothers. Maybe Orbital?

It's definitley not orbital or chumbawamba. I don't think its the prodigy either, although they certainly sounded like them. I will try the Dust Brothers to see if they match.

I just remembered that the lyrics go something like "come on and..." that's all I can remember. I also remember seeing their music video.

I certainly remember "Battle Flag", which features the vocals of the very talented Shawn Smith (of Brad and Satchel fame). I just didn't get to that song from the description.

Great song.

I remember it. Hell, I even went and saw 'em live way back in nineteen hundred ninety nine. ("Battle Flag" is originally a Pigeonhead/Shawn Smith song.)

I actually still have their record "How To Operate With A Blown Mind" on my PC. That whole record is actually very good.

Ooh snap.

Now that I put on half the record recently, I can say that some moments are just "pretty" good.

A worthwhile release, nonetheless. All Music Guide gave it four stars. I'm much more into John Bush than Ryan Schrieber. No wonder Schrieber's an editor. His points in that review are flimsy at best.

"Yeah, its, like... watered down and not REAL and, like, its like CANDLEBOX cuz its LAME and... its... not... like... REAL, man. YEAH... Y'KNOW? YEAH..."

It's basically that and nitpicking at little shit. Have some fun, for God's sake, Ryan.

I like the original Pigeonhed version of the song better than the Lo-Fi's remix. In fact, the Pigeonhed album that it's on (The Full Sentence, 1997) is pretty great and pretty overlooked. I do like the Lo-Fi's Don't Be Afraid of Love album from 2002, though.

Ok. I'm not sure if this song is a 90's or late 80's song but this song is a rock love song, and the band sounded like White Lion but maybe a little younger and the lyrics from the start of the songs goes like this" " AND THE TIME HAS COME, ALL MY ROADS LEAD TO ONE " then the choris goes like this: " WHEN SHE CRY PLEASE TELL HER THAT I LOVE HER, WHEN SHE CRY PLEASE LET HER KNOW THE WAYS IN WHICH I CARE, CAUSE SHE GAVE MORE BETTER LIFETIME..." then the last part goes like this: " WHY IS IT SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE " i dont even know if it is a one hit wonder or just a minor hit...Please help me find the artist or the song....Thank You!
